At the beginning of 2010 I told a friend I was either going to be engaged or married before the end of the year. And naturally, I was right.
Nick and I had been dating for almost 4 years, and marriage was becoming a hot topic with us.
However, I was still in school so we wanted to wait until I graduated.
Well, God thought differently and blessed us with a "little bump" in the road.
{5 months pregnant with our baby boy}
After a summer vacation in Cape Cod, we brought home our own personal souvenir: a baby.
Of course, the only right thing to do was get hitched.
Conveniently I was interning for my company, Two Be Wed, so I was able to whip up a wedding in 3 months within a reasonable budget.
We decided for a winter wedding with southern rustic charm.
Intimate & warm were the feelings we wanted to evoke so we kept the guest list to 120, did a lot of DIY details and threw in a coffee bar & some good ol' Texas BBQ.
